The 2014 Acura RLX is one of the latest version of 2014 Acura. The all-new 2014 Acura RLX will make its production debut in early-2013, as a 2014 model year, giving Honda’s luxury lineup a head start for 2014. A 2014 Acura RLX won't offer a V8, but it does get a new twist on the automaker's all-wheel-drive platform.
The front-wheel-drive base RLX gets a new direct-injected 3.5-liter V6 making 310 horsepower, which Acura expects will help the 2014 Acura RLX return 20 mpg city/31 mpg highway and 24 mpg combined. The base of 2014 Acura RLX also gets a four-wheel steering system that can adjust the angle of the rear wheels.
The "Precision All-Wheel Steer" system works in conjunction with the stability control system and variable-ratio steering for improved cornering and control, Acura says. The official starting price of the model has been announced during the automotive event and the 2014 Acura RLX will become available to its future customers from 48,450 USD, without the 895 USD destination fee. The 2014 Acura RLX goes on sale in the spring, with the RLX Sport Hybrid to follow later in the year.
