The 2014 Aston Martin Vanquish is a 2-door, up to 4-passenger luxury sports car, available in one trim only, the Coupe. Inside, the 2014 Aston Martin Vanquish interior has the Aston's traditional twin cockpit styling, with a large waterfall center stack design and steering wheel adapted from the One-77. The information, navigation and
entertainment systems, which feature Bang & Olufsen components and
speakers, have also been adapted from Aston's limited-run supercar. The 2014 Aston Martin Vanquish is equipped with a 6-speed Touchtronic II single-clutch paddle-shift gearbox with 37-percent quicker shifts in Sport mode. The stability control system has three modes, Normal, Sport and Track, which remap transmission shift points, throttle tip-in and steering feel. The steering ratio has also been revamped to a 15:1 ratio for sharper turn-in, while the carbon-ceramic brakes have been improved to provide shorter stopping distances with less brake noise. The all-new 2014 Aston Martin Vanquish is also the first Aston Martin to offer launch control.
