The 2013 GMC Acadia is one of the latest version of 2013 GMC. GMC hasn't exactly been making news lately, so the face-lifted 2013 GMC Acadia on display at the 2012 Chicago Auto Show. The 2013 GMC Acadia will be redesigned. Highlights include a restyled exterior, a higher-quality interior and new technological features. The 2013 GMC Acadia goes on sale this fall.
The 2013 GMC Acadia can still accommodate up to eight passengers, is still powered by a 3.6-liter V6 that makes 288 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque and still offers front- or all-wheel drive. The 2013 GMC Acadia automatic six-speed transmission also carries over, although revised for improved shift response.
But outside and in, the 2013 GMC Acadia makes large evolutionary leaps. The 2013 GMC Acadia also gets an interior makeover with upgraded, soft materials on doors and dash panels and red ambient cabin light. Upper trim levels spread aluminum accents throughout. As before, the 2013 GMC Acadia sliding second row eases access to the third row, which is actually roomy enough for adults. Both rows fold flat to yield 117 cubic feet of cargo capacity. Deploying from the inboard side of the driver seat, the airbag seeks to minimize injury from front passengers knocking into each other in a side-impact collision. Pricing and an on-sale date haven't been released for the 2013 Acadia. GMC says those details will be announced closer to its late 2012 on sale date.
